"The Presidential Election Debate is Not an Event to Drop Each Other" said Prabowo Sandiaga

Pojok Id. The National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno proposed that the 2019 Presidential Election debate format does not seem like a quiz competition.
This is to avoid debates as a place to drop each other between candidates.

The proposal was delivered by BPN Deputy Chairman Priyo Budi Santoso at the Debate Preparation Meeting of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates for the 2019 Election held by the General Election Commission (KPU) with the Paslon campaign team on Wednesday.

According to Priyo, the proposal he delivered was a message from Prabowo-Sandiaga last night. "Make sure that the debate format does not drop each other"
"Because those who will compete here debate our national leader candidates, Republic of Indonesia candidates and vice-president of the Republic of Indonesia," Priyo said at the KPU office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday.

Priyo said that his proposal was welcomed by the National Campaign Team (TKN) Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin and KPU.
Later, both panelists and moderators are not permitted to suddenly ask questions about the candidate pair.

"Which can be wangsit (not permissible) to ask questions which can harm both pairs of candidates," Priyo said.
